As a financial literacy advocate, Nelson is on a mission to help others understand money and how it works. Nelson has given a TEDx talk about financial literacy to help raise awareness of this critically important topic. His talk has inspired thousands to take action to improve their financial situation and has impacted a global audience. Nelson has given talks at UBC, Langara, Ryerson University (now called Toronto Metropolitan University), and Vancouver Island University and has given 5 keynote speeches at various student leadership and business management conferences.
